That would be awesome and expose Roberts even more. But even at 8-1, the Dems could not cry 'Partisan vote! The court is politicized!' Which of course they have not problem with it being politicized as long as it is politicized to the left.

This Texas case is lamentably going to amount to nothing. It is typical of Trump's tweets: Claim that something huge is about to happen, and then it turns out to be a nothing-burger. Sadly, it will be dismissed or voted against by SCOTUS, or won't count because the Electoral College has already voted, and Biden will be inaugurated in January, regrettably.

Live Action! Corrupt States Must Defend Their Elections

The Texas lawsuit argues the four states illegally made changes to the voting rules through the courts instead of through state legislatures, violating the Electors Clause. It also argues the differences in voting rules in different counties violated the Constitution's Equal Protection Clause and cites claims of voting irregularities in the states.

The Supreme Court has ordered Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Georgia respond to the Texas lawsuit on Thursday, December 10. The Supreme Court will then act to hear or dismiss the case.

I wonder what their defense will be? Covid?

    Covid doesn't trump the CONSTITUTION!

    17 States Join Texas Suit..

    States of Missouri,
    Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Kansas,
    Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, North
Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota,
    Tennessee, Utah, and West Virginia.
Second, amici States have a strong interest in
ensuring that the votes of their own citizens are not
diluted by the unconstitutional administration of
elections in other States. When non-legislative actors
in other States encroach on the authority of the
"Legislature thereof" in that State to administer a
Presidential election, they threaten the liberty, not
just of their own citizens, but of every citizen of the
United States who casts a lawful ballot in that
election—including the citizens of amici States.

The short story is that Michigan, PA, Wisconsin and Georgia held unconstitutional elections that imposed on the rights of those who held legal elections.
