    A great idea for Michigan!

    I propose that we make a brand new state. The southern border of this state will be US 10. Everything north of that will become a brand new state. We will call it Northern Michigan.

    We could even sign a letter of apology to Ohio for ever fighting against them for South East Michigan.

    Hey, that's called ethnic cleansing. Or maybe political cleansing, but it works the same way. Why not just create the nations of California, North Atlantic coast and USA (what remains) with free mobility between the three and let them sort themselves out ?
