Right now, according to some articles I have been reading, some "experts" believe that FOX will only lose a small minority of "disgruntled" Trump supporters but it is unlikely that they will lose many as most conservatives will still come back to FOX for Tucker, Hannity and others. If human nature, being as it is, where most people resist change despite their anger and frustration, then they could be right.
FOX, Facebook, Google (and YouTube, owned by Google) are dependent on this very fact about human nature and are not worried. They depend on the "battered wife" syndrome in many people to keep us coming., watching their networks and using their stuff. I have already read comments in many places where people want to keep watching FOX for Tucker and many people don't want to leave Facebook because they have too large of a following, or this is the only way to connect with family and friends. For the former, Tucker and Hannity probably believe the same thing and are likely not to leave FOX even if they can. It will be a pleasant surprise if I am wrong.
Me, I am willing to blow everything up and start from scratch if I think it will make a difference in the long run. I was able to immediately quit FOX News years ago. I will make a slow transition to other social media sites to see how that works out.

LOL, perhaps I should clarify that "blowing everything up" was meant metaphorically

Tucker Carlson Blasts His Own Network For Cutting Away From Trump Campaign Presser
On Monday evening, Fox News host Tucker Carlson blasted his own network after Fox News host Neil Cavuto cut away from a Trump campaign presser after they started discussing voter fraud.
"We live in a country where a large part of our population no longer believes that our democracy is real. That is sad. It is also dangerous. It could easily get worse. What we are doing in response is hardly the solution. It is making our country much more volatile and setting us up for something bad."
He later took a swipe at his own news network.
"In a democracy, you can't ignore honest questions from citizens," Carlson said. "You can't dismiss them out of hand is crazy or immoral for asking. You can't just cut away from coverage you don't like."

Tucker may well find himself jettisoned with unessential cargo. This will be the real news story over there. But then, I'm not watching anymore.

That may true with some. I talked to a pastor's wife yesterday. They have a big following on FB, lots of people watch their services etc. they are going to keep their ministry on FB but personally start evolving slowly to other sites for social fellowship.
The other thing, NFL & NBA lost a lot of their fan base and I don't see most of them coming back.
I tend to think it's going to hurt Fox this time. On a normal weekend, they have over 4 million viewers. This past weekend they had only 1.7 million.
Laura Ingram is toast. A few might only watch their favorites, but it will hurt the others unfortunately and if Tucker & Hannity leave, I think Fox is done

Good! I was wondering if anyone was going to break ranks and do that. I wish it would have been a little more obvious, but at least he did it. Because he could also be referring to the way all the other news programs cut away from Trump coverage when they don't like what is being said.

Meanwhile, hours earlier anchor Sandra Smith was caught frowning and rolling her eyes and asking 'what is happening' as a Trump supporter repeated Trump's accusations of widespread election fraud.
In a leaked clip circulating online, Smith - who was not on air at the time - pulls faces at the DC-based lawyer Cleta Mitchell's comments and asks 'what is happening'.
'I think everybody wants to know that this was done properly and legally and we can trust the results,' said Cleta Mitchell, as she reiterated Trump's claims of voter fraud, despite the president providing no evidence.
'And I think we have to look into every one of these concerns.
' Remember, just because CNN says, or even Fox News says that somebody's president doesn't make them president,' Mitchell told Fox News' Trace Gallagher who was interviewing her.
Smith is caught on camera rolling her eyes, furrowing her brow and shaking her head.
'What?' Smith said, looking up in disbelief and appearing to be unaware she was being picked up on a hot mic.
While Mitchell continues speaking, Smith then interjects in an angrier tone: 'What is happening? Like, Trace, we've called it.'
Mitchell was either unable to hear Smith or chose to ignore her heckles, as she continued speaking.
The video was first circulated on Twitter by political consultant, and former Daily Beast director of video, Timothy Burke.
Smith, who first joined Fox Business Network as a reporter in October 2007, is a regular foil of White House spokespeople and has a back catalog of viral clips showing her clashing with members of the Trump administration, including the likes of Kellyanne Conway.
Similarly, Cavuto has regularly questioned Trump hitting out at the president in May when he recommended taking hydroxychloroquine as a preventative for contracting COVID-19.

A tweet from MSNBC. You know you've gone off the deep end when you have them praising you.
"I'm happy Neil Cavuto did that ... Watching Kayleigh McEnany talk about honesty and transparency is an obscenity in this country," Steve Schmidt says about Fox News cutting away from Kayleigh McEnany speaking about claims of voter fraud without evidence.
