Back in March, Daniel Prude, a black man, had died while in police custody. Riots had occurred in Rochester, New York last month over his death — months after he died.

It was reported that police had placed an anti-spit hood over Prude's head following the coronavirus protocol. They had found him naked and high on PCP in the street on a cold, rainy night. He soon after lost consciousness, and he was taken off of life support just a week later.

Although Prude did die while in police custody, everything was done by the book following the department's protocols, but it seems that that does not matter to the left. All that matters to them is that a black man had died while in police custody — nothing else.

In the end, Police Chief La'Ron Singletary, Rochester Police Department Deputy Chief Joseph Morabito, and Deputy Chief Mark Simmons all resigned.

Afterward, the Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren suspended seven officers involved in the arrest, even though all they did was follow the protocols. This act only showed how much of a racist she is.

Now it seems, karma has been served. According to WBFO:

Mayor Lovely Warren and two of her political associates, including the finance director for the city of Rochester, have been indicted on felony charges connected to campaign finance violations alleged to have occurred during Warren's 2017 re-election run, the Monroe County District Attorney's Office made public on Friday.

The three of them face two charges, including illegal coordination between political committees for the purpose of evading donor limits and participating in a scheme to defraud in the first degree.

The associates indicted with Warren include Albert Jones Jr., who was Warren's campaign treasurer, and Rosalind Brooks, who was the treasurer of a political action committee created by Warren called Warren for a Strong Rochester. Brooks, who also goes by Rosalind Brooks-Harris, is the city's finance director.

According to WBFO, Warren's administration had decided to do their best to keep the word of Prude's death from getting out. Former Police Chief Singletary had refused to do so, which is why he and two of his top deputies resigned.

"As a man of integrity, I will not sit idly by while outside entities attempt to destroy my character," Singletary had said.

"The members of the Rochester Police Department and the Greater Rochester Community know my reputation and know what I stand for," Singletary, wrote in his resignation letter. "The mischaracterization and the politicization of the actions that I took after being informed of Mr. Prude's death is not based on facts, and is not what I stand for."

I guess it's true when they say that karma comes back around.
