Barr to Designate 3 Cities as Anarchist Jurisdictions

As anarchists continually rampage several states, the federal government says enough is enough.

US Attorney General William Barr designated three key cities as "anarchist jurisdictions" for failing to restore peace, and instead defunded the police department.

New York City, Portland, and Seattle are targeted to miss federal funds after seemingly encouraging the anarchists and punishing the police. New normal for the three states include riots in the city streets, where protesters are tolerated to damage properties while the police are told to watch.

The three cities earlier refused help from the federal government in controlling the chaos.

"When state and local leaders impede their law enforcement officers and agencies from doing their jobs, it endangers innocent citizens who deserve to be protected, including those who are trying to peacefully assemble and protest," AG Barr said, as reported in New York Post.

"We cannot allow federal tax dollars to be wasted when the safety of the citizenry hangs in the balance,'' the Attorney General added.

AG Barr hopes that the three cities will "become serious" in providing the primary government function and begin protecting the residents.

The budget cut is still unclear but considering Big Apple's annual federal aid of $7 billion, the amount to be stripped would be staggering. Guidance on the withdrawal of funds would be issued in no more than two weeks by White House Budget Director Russ Vought.

The watch list would still be updated periodically.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo earlier warned President Trump to watch his step in the state. This is in response to the President's memo ordering financial retribution against cities cutting police funds and tolerating riots during the state-wide chaos.

"He better have an army if he thinks he's gonna walk down the street in New York," said Gov. Andrew Cuomo. "He can't have enough bodyguards to walk through New York City, and people don't want to have anything to do with him," threatened the Democratic governor.

The anarchy sparked days after George Floyd's killing by a Minnesota Police in May and has since become seemingly unbridled.

Considerations for making it to the list include negligence of restoring order and peace. New York City has alarmingly increased records of shootings and murders, while in Portland, protests have reached more than 100 consecutive nights. Seattle also has been in anarchy for awhile, with associated crimes.

Aside from defunding the police, some district attorneys have freed people arrested for misconduct and unlawful assembly.

New York City agreed to cut $1 billion in the NYPD budget. Portland will lower the police funds by $15 million, while Seattle will also cut by $3 million.

Now, how else would the police more effectively exercise authorities with less funding? How else would the officers restore law and order with budget cuts?

On the other hand, Washington, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, reached out to President Trump to prevent her city from making it to the list.

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany addressed the issue of federal defunding at a press briefing. McEnany said that she is familiar with South Dakota vs. Dole, where federal funds are constitutionally withheld from states non-conforming to federal policy on legal drinking age.

"Law and Order" will be the highlight of President Trump's campaign in his re-election.

It is just as well that the people's tax not be wasted funding the anarchist jurisdictions.

What kind of aid are they getting for $7 billion dollars? What does it go to?

I applaud the Attorney General, it's time to put a stop to this nonsense of letting criminals destroy public property and then expecting taxpayers to clean up the messes that they are allowing.

When Pres Trump is re-elected (God willing) there will be more. They are only getting started.
