The Obama's and the Biden camp had better speak out publicly against this film, or they'll lose even more supporters.
When your praise match your prayers, the answer will come.

Barack and Michelle won't speak out against Netflix because they have a production deal with them. There's your hypocrisy.

I agree. I had a sliver of hope that Michelle, since she has daughters, would at least say something against the exploitation. But then I remembered she once said that Beyoncé is her daughters hero, or that they idolized her. Something to that effect.

I have not had the chance to watch the movie, so I was wondering,
have any of you seen it?

I don't think anyone here has Netflix. Or if they did, probably wouldn't admit to it. lol

We have Netflix, but have no interest in even checking out this film.

Nope, I don't intend to. I've seen some clips though, and they were very disturbing. I heard a good analogy, "I don't have to watch a film that kills puppies to show that killing puppies is bad"

I have had netflix since the days they mailed you cd's in those red envelopes. I know there is a lot of problematic programing, but I'll never watch any of it. Right now, I'm watching the latest season of Call the Midwife and Heartland.
