    Pre-Election Observations

As I was participating in a Trump motor cruise yesterday I formed a few observations. Our town is approx 4,000 and rather strong in the conservative vote. In a matter of two weeks a grassroots movement to hold a motor rally parade through the downtown district attracted 200 vehicles (w/law enforcement giving escort), 50 motorcycles driving parade pace on a 2 lane street. This blew into a whirlwind of participation from those that were not in the parade.

As we drove 1.5 miles we had nearly every car in the oncoming traffic with horns honking, people leaning out car windows with phones taking vids. I did notice one woman driver with her hand shielding her face and windows rolled up (she looked disgusted). As we rolled along, people were on their porches, front yards and on the curbside cheering, waving and hollering support. In the downtown district people lined the streets and corners cheering us on.

My good friend Steve Gruber of the Steve Gruber Show (am talk radio, appears on Foxnews etc) spoke of the moment. Steve commented that in all the elections he has witnessed he has never seen this kind of participation with very little promotion. My reply was this is such a small slivver of the pie and is an indicator of who the people will vote for. This is a nationwide groundswell of support for the reelection of Pres Donald Trump. Being an area of lakes and resorts there are Trump Boat Rallies most weekends.

    Just my simple groundlevel observations.

Maybe your prediction is right. But in my solidly blue state, I think the reverse is true. So much disgust with Trump from the Left here that it makes me wonder if he can win. One prediction I'll make is that whichever side loses will accuse the other of voter fraud. I'd go to the bank on that.

Yes. That is the plan, dems are planting chaos seeds now. For this election to work Trumps' victory must be overwhelming as the whole dem strategy is to play "court room".

Michigan was a battleground state prior to 2016. Then came the Trump Train. Hillary lost twice in Michigan, once in the general and then in the recount. What the Liberals did not pay attention to was the silent majority. We are no longer silent. Trump rallies are popping up all across the country and especially here in Michigan.

Back in 2015-16, if you were a Trump supporter you were quiet about it. Yesterday I spoke with one of the many walk-ons that saw the lot full of trucks flying flags and pulled in. He said that he was one of the early supporters that was not vocal of his support for Trump. He said this year is different and he is glad for it.

Yes, prepare for a continued and intensified fight if the election is close. But I wouldn't count on it being close. The evil we see now will get much worse before the year is out. Even in our wonderfully peaceful area, we have vandalism. Trump supporters have signs stolen, get flipped off and yelled at. Soon I will post my trailcam to up the security level even though it's a protected part of town that sees very little crime.

Our neighboring town of Petoskey (where my wife and I grew up) had a Biden rally yesterday, here is how they did...

How many of you have a Trump sign in your yard?

If you pick up signage at your local RNC headquarters you may be in for a surprise. In Emmet county you have to sign for your signs. They need to make sure they aren't stockpiled and sold out of someone's trailer. Yup, Pres Trump exudes and inspires business.

no signs here. Our neighbor had a Trump banner up - but it was either knocked down or blew down. They think it was knocked down. I'm pretty sure it blew down in the storms we've had. Nevertheless, they removed it. I'm thinking of asking them to put it up between our houses - it's one thing we can be in agreement on. Other than that, no signs in on street, and not many signs anywhere.
