    Is Charisma Too Political

Excerpts from Stephen Strang's column in the September issue of Charisma.

Why would a magazine like Charisma, devoted for 45 years to inspiring people to encounter the power of the Holy Spirit, focus on things political?
I've been asked that especially by those who don't understand why I have written several books supporting Donald Trump.
We believe we have power over the enemy and the forces of darkness that are dragging our country the wrong way.
As far as my books are concerned, I delve these aspects and the spiritual warfare that is going on in our country in some depth in what I have penned. Very little content of what I have written over the years could be called "political."
The left has hijacked the term "political" so that many things that are biblical principals, such as life and marriage, are considered "politics" and off limits to Christians. We've been shunned from the public square and told keep our religious beliefs, political opinions, and candidates we favor within the four walls of the church.
Because we are not hindered nor limited by the "Johnson Amendment" that prohibits nonprofits from offering political endorsements, Charisma has been able to endorse politicians going back to Ronald Reagan.
That's why I have recently wrote God, Trump, and the 2020 Election.
If you read that book, you will know it isn't just about politics. This is not about a political race or about a man.
It is about the direction of our country and what God is saying.
Depending on who wins the presidential election in a couple of months, there may be a drastic change in our country.
It will affect our liberties to worship God as we see fit and limit our ability to share the gospel with the world. If the tide is turned to further a more godless and darker agenda within our nation, it will affect many other countries around the world.

    [My added comment]

God's word will be fulfilled as the bible declares as last days events continue. A delay in judgement is not out of order even though His word will come to pass.
If President Trump is reelected, this will give us another reprieve, a little more time to advance His kingdom in the earth, and see more souls saved. Satan wants to destroy this country, and maybe I'm missing it, but if Mr. Trump loses in November, we will see an avalanche of evil descend over America in a rapid amount of time without restraint. I've heard several Christian leaders mention that this is the most important Presidential election in the history of our country.
If you put God First, you have Him at Last.

In Canada, Justin Trudeau told Christians that if they wanted to run for the Liberal Party, they would be rejected -don't even bother applying.

If Christians don't mobilize, and start volunteering and helping Christian candidates elected, we could be in for more of the Trudeau tyranny.

The Ecclesia of God absolutely must wake up, mobilize the sleeping giant that is the church and get busy.

Absolutely get involved. We have an anointing. We have the Truth. What is needed more than that right now in this dark, hate filled world.
