Hillary Clinton Warns That Trump May Not 'Go Quietly' if He Loses Re-Election

In an interview on Monday with The Daily Show's host Trevor Noah, Hillary Clinton claimed that if President Trump fails to be re-elected in November, it is possible he will not leave the White House quietly.

"Well, I think it is a fair point to raise as to whether or not, if he (President Trump) loses, he's going to go quietly or not. And we have to be ready for that," the former Secretary of State asserted, according to Fox News.

In making this statement, Clinton cited Trump's claims that mail-in voting could result in widespread fraud and undermine the election. Clinton added that she assumes these claims by the President are his way of tailoring the election in his favor.

"There have been so many academic studies and other analyses which point out that it's just an inaccurate, fraudulent claim," Clinton said.

"There isn't that problem. All the games that are played ... to try and keep the vote down – that's the real danger to the integrity of our election, that combined with disinformation and misinformation and all the online shenanigans we saw in 2016," she continued.

Clinton went on to voice concerns that Republican politicians would aim to eliminate mail-in voting in an effort to create long lines at polling stations and in doing so, make voting more difficult for young people and minorities.

"I want a fair election. If people get to vote and they, for whatever reason, vote for Donald Trump – OK. We'll accept it, not happily," she said with a slight chuckle. "But I don't think that's what will happen, because I think the more people who can actually get to the polls, whether by mail or in-person, and get their votes counted, then we are going to have the kind of election we should have."

Also in the interview, Clinton critiqued Trump's handling of the coronavirus pandemic in the U.S. saying that there has been a "total lack of leadership."

"You have to start with President Trump's total hostility toward science, evidence, facts, logic, reason. He is a showman. He is a reality TV star. He likes to try to bend reality to suit his own preferences. And he clearly started hearing about this back in January through intelligence briefings that he either read or didn't read," she said.

"But even before that he had disbanded the unit within the National Security Council that would try to get ahead of and follow the development of pandemics abroad," Clinton continued.

"He had really made it clear that he was more interested in the optics than the facts when the virus first hit and he kept saying, 'We have 15 cases, it'll be over soon.'"

"So, you've got to begin and end with his total lack of leadership. His indifference toward what this virus has cost us, not only in lives but in jobs and livelihoods," she added.

The 2016 Presidential nominee also noted how Trump has turned his back on listening to infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci.

"Now, of course, he doesn't want to hear from our leading infectious disease experts like Dr. Fauci," she said. "He doesn't want to hold even the sham of the meetings he used to hold to try and talk about it. He's hoping that it either goes away or leaves our attention span so that he can get back to pretending to be president," Clinton concluded.

High comedy there. The Dems and her still haven't accepted the last election results. lol.

That whole interview is just full of idiocy. Just saying things so that makes it true. The left and media modus operandi these days.

I wish she would team up with Biden so we can watch her wig out when she loses again.
