    Absolutely! Walk in obedience Nikos.

But get some training. They have some good light weight guns that are good just for protection.

I was surprised how quiet their Governor has been on this. Isn't he supposed to be a conservative?

I took my brother to a place in Nevada called "Frontsight" for a 4 day defensive handgun course. We had guns as kids but he said he hadn't fired one for many years. After 4 days he was comfortable with the gun and as well trained as many who serve in security. Certainly better than the couple in St. Louis. I have a membership that is worth several thousand dollars that was given to me several years ago. It came with the right to sell copies to 3 friends so I gifted one to my brother. We can go do the course as many times as we want for no additional charges. NRA membership is optional. I have two more memberships that I can sell for $350 each (Their price, not mine. Each course is $2000 without the membership.)

The New York Post reports McCloskey and his wife are now under investigation.

St. Louis Prosecutor Kimberly Gardner said, "I am alarmed at the events that occurred over the weekend, where peaceful protestors were met by guns."

She added, "We must protect the right to peacefully protest, and any attempt to chill it through intimidation or threat of deadly force will not be tolerated," she insisted, saying her office was "currently working with the public and police to investigate these events.

Read my post #10 and you'll get the idea.

Of course, it's your choice, but I would ask myself:

    1) have I or my neighbors encountered a situation where a gun would have been helpful. (If you live in a very safe neighborhood why bother?)

    2) are the police very responsive where i live? (If it takes 15 minutes for them to arrive then I might consider it.)

    3) am I comfortable handling guns? Do I have any experience with them? If not do I have the time and resources to get myself well trained.

Update on more threats to that couple:

Tucker Carlson Tonight - Rioters: Their Names & Faces | Facebook

Right after that segment Tucker Carlson also has an update on the arrests of some of the rioters.

    1) I would say that couple lived in a safe neighborhood until they didn't!
    2) I'm sure the couple had a good police response time, until they didn't!
    3) Totally agree, if you intend to use a gun, you need to be trained. When I was a kid, this was done at school (one of our field trips was to a gun range) But times have changed so much.

It boggles my mind that they can't get any kid of law enforcement to respond to them. If I was the governor and knew about this I would send the State Patrol or National Guard. This political correctness regarding mobs is asinine. You do what you have to do to stop them. The only problem is you always have a liberal politician somewhere and the news media that will defend the mob and criticize what was done no matter how dangerous the mob was. This isn't a protest as Tucker said. Not even close.
