As I said, I pray for him and I like some of the things he's done....but when all is said and done, I think the church will ultimately suffer for supporting a corrupt man. His soul is worth more than serving as president and I wonder if those Christians close to him are concerned about his walk with the Lord.

So what corruption are you dwelling on? I know you aren't dwelling on his past, right?

Do you think that the ministers he has surrounded himself with are not concerned about his walk with the Lord?

Do you think he is more or less corrupt than King David was?

The only thing a Hillary presidency would hasten would be more baby murders and less freedom for preachers to speak out on the sins of our nation.

The church is already paying for not doing their job in the first place. In fact, the whole nation is paying for the church not doing her job.

1 Tim 2:2 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men,
2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
My understanding of church history is that a persecuted church is a growing church. We are in the doldrums now. In fact, in America, the church is in decline. Christians are too comfortable.

God can grow the Church in spite of persecution. One doesn't seek persecution as some do, one seeks and prays for peace and quiet and godliness and reverence while consecrating oneself for both plenty and for need. That is the best way. Voting for Hillary to persecute America would be totally unbiblical.

Insofar as he hasn't made an effort to right past wrongs.

If they are, we're not seeing evidence of it. He's still a profane man.

The level of corruption isn't what matters. King David was repentant. Remember Trump has said he has no need of forgiveness.

God brought judgment to America for her sin of slavery via a horrible Civil War. We are ripe for judgement again for our many present sins, including abortion and sexual immorality.

So let's hasten persecution. Vote for the liberals and you will have it.

Ironically, a Trump presidency supported by Christians may hasten persecution.

At least the Trump voters will have avoided it as best they could without compromising their message, just like Paul did when he told the authorities that he was a Roman citizen so that they wouldn't persecute him more than what couldn't be avoided.

How about "tax payer funded sex-reassignment surgery" ? They claim to be scientific and there is zero evidence that that is anything more than aiding a mental disease. To the contrary, the male and female brain are vastly different in measurable ways. There is absolutely nowhere for the "alternative gender identity" to be found in physical reality.
