George W. Bush slams Trumpism, without mentioning president by name...
'Bigotry seems emboldened. Our politics seems more vulnerable to conspiracy theories and outright fabrication,' Bush declared.
Former President George W. Bush offered an unmistakable denunciation of Trumpism on Thursday without mentioning the president by name, urging citizens to oppose threats to American democracy.
“Bigotry seems emboldened. Our politics seems more vulnerable to conspiracy theories and outright fabrication,” Bush warned in remarks at the Bush Institute’s Spirit of Liberty event in New York.
By chance, Bush was standing in the same spot at the Time Warner Center where former President Barack Obama made a similar plea for democracy and American leadership in late September, shortly after President Donald Trump had finished a belligerent, isolationist speech to the United Nations General Assembly. http://politi.co/2yyqoYD
I done bout had it with the Bush men. They blew off the GOP Convention in Cleveland as if that wasn’t bad enough, now he’s making snarky comments against the President and those who voted for him. Whatever happened to being silent? He made the statement that he wasn’t going to criticize or comment against the sitting POTUS when Barack Obama was in office. He needs to return to that position and have several seats.

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
Trump = US
Bush = THEM
We are winning. Their pathetic stranglehold on power is crumbling and desperation is setting in. It will get worse as they have nothing and everything to lose.

Hey, some of my friends who hated and vilified Bush now love him. Want to make yourself liked by the public? Criticize someone that they hate more than you.
It shows just how fickle people can be.

I am not a Bush fan ever since he got us into the Iraq war. I opposed him then and now. When he was president he kept saying that the God of the Muslims was the same God as the Christian. He is not a true conservative and not a true christian.

Bush was basically a milquetoast president politically speaking.

Now when you do a Google search, the once hated George W. Bush is now the love-lust of the Liberal media. Read some of the comments in some of the liberal media reports on Bush's criticism of Trump and you find stuff like, "Although I never voted for Bush I never really thought he was a bad guy. So glad he's speaking out" and other types of comments of this nature by liberals. George W. Bush has mystically made liberals fall in love with him overnight.
Here is an interesting opinion piece written from a liberal perspective but has some interesting points:
How Trump helped liberals learn to love George W. Bush

Something I read in his book comes to mind.....can't recall the words but the jest of it is how politically strategic his family is.....for him to suddenly speak out now in this manner is not just Trump hating...it is by design...he is either going to run for some Senate office or he is preparing the people for another run by Jeb against Trump for next term.....this is a well planned strategic maneuver

Probably Jeb. They thought he would be the nominee and then Trump destroyed him.

I think he and the rest of his family are still upset with President Trump for mocking Jeb during the Debates and Campaign.
