    Good point

If sinners can't help themselves then God is wrong to judge them as they don't have any self control

Can you imagine a young man dating your daughter and he uses the argument... I am weak to my sinful nature ......so I couldn't help but rape her

Wonder what the girls father would say?

They'll have no excuse on Judgment Day. I'm in complete agreement with evangelizing the lost. I witness to the lost regularly, and pray for them daily. I'm just tired of the excuse that sinners can't help themselves. Most know right from wrong and we need to stop making excuses for them, especially knowing all that we know about the devastating effects of the homosexual lifestyle.

I thought that you believe that people are born spiritually dead ? Isn't that the same thing, people can't help but start sinning ?

Scriptural spiritual death means that the human spirit is fallen and cannot connect to God.

It doesn't mean it is dead like a dead human body with no ability to interact
Occult people use their spirit and they interact with demons - their spirit is still alive but fallen and dead to God

Even fallen sinful man has personal responsibility and can still make choices. There are Buddhists that will not hurt any living animal so they have a conscience.
Our conscience had a fall but did not die or disappear

In that case you are using a slightly different definition than I do. The funny thing is that according to your own definition it follows that Jesus was spiritually dead while he was forsaken by God. According to mine it doesn't because spiritual death is tied to the presence of sin in someone's spirit. Sin and sin guilt is what separates us from being able to connect God even when we can perceive him as being there.

There is a difference between spiritual death, which is separation from God and the Calvinistic idea of "total depravity". Separation from God does not annihilate the ability to choose between right and wrong. This is the BIBLE truth (Isa. 59:1-2; Deut. 30:15, 19). Total depravity says that a man was decreed by God with an inability to choose the good. This is not a Biblical truth.

God will be able to justly judge Muslims and LGBTQ because they have the ability to choose the good. They have the ability to accept His invitation for salvation. They refuse to do it (Isa. 1:19-20)

Adam and Eve weren't born again but they weren't spiritually dead either, even though the Holy Spirit wasn't one with their human spirits. How did their state differ from that of a newborn baby ? I'm not thinking about the sinful nature inherited in the body, I'm discussing the human spirit/soul.

I'm quite obviously discussing their state prior to their fall.

People aren't born spiritually dead, they die spiritually when they reach the age or knowledge of right and wrong. Romans 7:7-9

They didn't die spiritually until they sinned. They were not created spiritually dead.
