    The truth about Donald Trump

Chuck Baldwin put out this article on 8-10.
I agree with Dr. Baldwin that Christians, and that of the so-called American clergy has put Mr. Trump on the pedestal as a savior of our beloved (sinful) country.
How many times in past presidential elections has the "Church" jumped on the band wagon hollering that so and so is Gods man for the hour?
I think most of us can agree that the core of the central D.C. leadership is wicked and is in links with a Luciferian global agenda.
Why do Christians always swallow the (deceptive) bait that this time around (new president) is the turning point of our nation being restored to its past innocence and prosperity (not to sure if that paints a correct picture of our past early roots).
This may kind of sound harsh, but its God's word, and I haven't heard any of the clergy who surround President Trump quote it.
"The wicked shall be turned into hell,
and all the nations that forget God (Psm 9:17).
We all have heard the quote by Billy Graham that..."if God doesn't judge America, He will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah".
Believers deceive themselves if they put their hope in a man (and that of an ungodly man) to "bring America back to greatness".
In all reality, America's going to fall, and fall hard. When things get extremely hard in this country, perhaps the peoples hearts will be more sensitive and open to crying out to God for help and salvation. I guess we'll see won't we ? I had the pleasure of voting for Chuck Baldwin a few elections ago, he was on the FL presidential ballot and allowed me to vote with a clean conscience.

I don't agree with his broad strokes about Christians and Trump.

There are always those who cry out when things get hard and then it's back to business as usual. Remember 9-11?

Yes, I understand what you're saying curly sue. I've heard for years a revival is coming to America. In the good times very few seek God in repentance.
What I hear in my spirit is that a shaking is coming to America that will make 911 look like a walk in the park. More than ever, we who are Christ followers must
walk with the Master closer than we have ever before. I'm taking about the secret place of the Most High. If I'm hearing correctly, we will see what is written in
Psalm 91 come off the pages and experience it before our very eyes.
If you put God First, you have Him at Last.

Sounds like Chuck needs to turn off his TeeVee. He refers to the TV toadies who really are attracted to wealth and power, that will never change.

The Trump thing has never been about Trump, it was, and still is a repudiation of the DC swamp. Now, the Bush thing was overdone, the church glommed onto that and became blood thirsty war mongers. I dare say, it's possible they learned a lesson riding the Bush train that they won't repeat. Hope so, anyway.

Humfph! Must've gotten the cold shoulder from the inner circle.

Christians voted for Donald Trump mostly because we know what would've happened if we voted for the other person. I've not heard one Christian say or behave as if President Trump is the savior of the world neither has any minister worshipped him as the Messiah.

Mr. Baldwin sounds just like another bitter former candidate who feels like he should be in the Oval Office and can't fathom why God would choose a man like Donald Trump for the highest office in the land. Yeah, like King David's brothers, Saul, and others in his neighborhood couldn't figure out how he could be king. But God showed them all and considers David a "man after His own heart." Take that!

"Instead, God chose those things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise, and He chose things that are powerlesss to shame those who are powerful. God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important." 1 Corinthians 1:27-28

God's ways and thoughts are higher than man's...The sooner these bitter, jealous, losers realize that, their lives may be happier.

Sounds like his own conscience got seared along the way. Certainly not discerning of what God is doing through the President.

I do agree with him here:

So, as a pastor with a national audience, it behooves me to say something.

Because G.W. Bush claimed to be a believer in Jesus Christ, he absolutely could do no wrong in the eyes of America’s evangelical pastors and Christians. When he took America into two unconstitutional, illegal, and immoral wars, Christians cheered; when he bombed innocent men, women, and children in the name of the “war on terror,” Christians cheered; when he created a brand new war doctrine--the preemptive war doctrine--Christians cheered; when he created a gigantic surveillance state and national police force, Christians cheered; when he filled his cabinet and administration with CFR globalists, Christians cheered; and when Bush partnered with Bill and Hillary Clinton in what can only be described as an international crime family, Christians, well, they looked the other way. Bush was a “born-again Christian,” so he could do no wrong.

Like I said, I’ve heard all of this before.

Christians (and conservatives) completely overlooked the Bush family connections to Saudi Arabia; the Bush family connections to international drug running; the Bush family connections to globalist war traders and profiteers; and the Bush family connections to German Nazism and Italian fascism. Bush was a “Christian” and could do no wrong.
The church should not have supported Bush the way they did, he was a disaster for civil liberties, the economy, he was a fear monger, a war monger and worse. The church was used in a cynical fashion by him and his gang of degenerates.
