Rev Raphael Warnock-Pastor of Historical Ebenezer Baptist Church Arrested
ATLANTA - Rev. Raphael Warnock, senior pastor of Atlanta's historic Ebenezer Baptist Church, was arrested on Tuesday in Washington, DC, during a protest.
Senior pastoral assistant Rev. Regina Chamberlain confirmed that Warnock was arrested.
According to a news release from Monday night, Warnock was part of a group of clergy from across in the nation on Capitol Hill protesting the budget proposed by President Donald Trump, as well as the proposed Senate health care bill.
A spokesperson for Warnock, Tenisha T. Bell, tweeted out this photo of Warnock being handcuffed by Capitol Police:
According to a representatives for the church, Warnock and others were singing and praying inside the Russell Rotunda when they were arrested.

A friend posted..."As my father taught me, "follow the money son to know the true motivation of a thing or person." That pastor receives remuneration from the DNC, Planned Parenthood, or some other liberal "regressive" organization. And that is why he and the other pastors pulled that publicity stunt. MLKjr must be rolling over in this grave.....smh"
Maybe he should solicit his congregation to make monthly donations to pay for medical insurance for Georgia residents!

If this is true then this man is not only betraying the trust that God has given him but he is betraying his own race. The love of money is indeed the root of all evil.

For him to be arrested there was more going on than a legal protest...was it the location of the protest?

Yes, it was on Capitol Hill. He was arrested for crowding, obstruction, and incommoding, whatever that is.
