Watching FOX's and CNN's coverage of Trump's speech...

...Is hilarious. I was watching on FOX, and I thought I'd see if CNN was covering it, and they showed about 5 minutes of the speech then went to a panel dissecting basically his opening remarks, doing the same old tired liberal media thing, and never got back to Trump. They're not showing the whole thing. This is definitely an editorial decision of the station not to air Trump apparently.

Can you imagine them not showing every second of an Obama speech when he was president and doing just what they did with this one? It's laughable.

And I just found this too on the GA election last night. Same thing here. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad. Check out the pic at the bottom.

CNN Cuts Away from Karen Handel's Victory Speech

CNN cut away from Karen Handel's victory speech after the Republican won the special election in Georgia's 6th congressional district on Tuesday night, just as she was about to begin describing the issues that defined her agenda.

A few minutes earlier, CNN had aired the speech of Democrat Jon Ossoff until it ended. Ossoff was expected to win by most observers, and carried the hopes of the so-called "#Resistance," which hoped that Tuesday would mark the beginning of the end of the GOP majority in the House of Representatives and of President Donald Trump himself.

On social media, conservatives mocked the downcast faces of CNN's political journalists, analysts and contributors as they struggled to digest yet another disappointment. Handel's victory was just the latest in a long string of special elections that the Democrats had expected to win, and it was the one district they felt was well within their grasp. It proved too much for CNN's Don Lemon, who evidently could not bear to hear Handel explain to him and to CNN's audience exactly why it was that she had won, and what issues her voters cared about when they went to the polls.

There was no breaking news elsewhere that demanded attention. CNN merely cut back to a group of talking heads.

CNN has taken a defiantly oppositional posture since Trump won the November election. It has focused obsessively on the Russia conspiracy theory, to the exclusion of coverage about what the Trump administration is actually doing and what voters really care about. It would rather censor than cover the news, and Tuesday night was no exception.

I can barely watch CNN for more than 5 minutes, and I'm soooo tired of seeing all the women with hemlines so short, you can almost see their underwear on FOX.

I admit that I became a *News Junkie* after the attacks on 9-11, but now I just channel surf for a few minutes to check out the "day's top stories" and then go back to watching Tiny House Hunters (LOL)

I very rarely watch any political stuff to maintain my peace level. lol.

I was just watching this because of the elections on Tuesday.

If you really want to watch a train wreck, watch Rachel Maddow on MSNBC. I have't seen her other than last night Hannity was playing a bunch of clips of her and she's literally insane and delusional. And Rolling Stone just did an article on her as 'The most trusted news source in America' or something like that. That's how crazy all this has become. Any sane person can see she's off her rocker but Rolling Stone just tagged her as that. Unbelievable.

Same here. There was a time I would watch FOX News semi-regularly, especially O'Reilly and Hannity (or "Hannity and Colmes"). After O'Reilly got sanctimonious and started chastizing Christians for taking the Bible above "science" (when his "Killing Jesus" book came out) I was done with FOX. Now I will flip through the channel occasionally (between them and FOX Business and OANN) but I have decided that watching the political foolishness does nothing but aggravate me.

CNN - I can't remember the last time I ever watched them. The only time I have ever watched MSNBC was because my barber, though a Christian minister, is also liberal in his politics so I am forced to watch the Liberal propaganda channel when I am getting a haircut (many of my associates, especially those in the Black community, have learned to ignore the anti-Christian viewpoints of their favorite politicians).

I hardly watched election night. On that night, I woke up about 2 in the morning (approximately), saw that Trump had won, praised the Lord, turned off the TV and went back to sleep.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I do watch Neil Cavuto on Fox Business Network on occasion - He's smart, straightforward, and I lurve his dry wit and sense of humor.
