Thread: White Working Class Should Be Replaced by Immigrants

Neoconservative Bill Kristol says that white working class Americans should be replaced by immigrants because they have become "lazy," "decadent" and "spoiled".

Actually SOME have...they have an entitlement mentality and many of their jobs are union protected rather that performance earned...I have known some in my lifetime...

LEGAL immigrants, would most likely, not hold that state of mind, but would be grateful for the opportunity to carve out a new life...just as early immigrant American's did and their early generation of natural born Americans...this mentality has been many years in the development....

IMHO

I do think that Americans tend to get lazy and think that "everyone" owes them.

I suppose being anti-American is more ingrained than I thought. The comments made by Kristol sickened me.

I think there's a measure of truth in what he said.. but it's because of the way society works.

The parents who have to work their whole lives at difficult jobs or hard physical labor, want to make it better for their kids. A lot of times the kids don't appreciate what they have. So, they, in turn, indulge their kids outrageously. Things usually collapse at some point and the cycle starts again.

I think we're near the end of the "outrageously" part and it's going to fall apart.

Watching history repeat is just one more reason I'm so happy that I can trust God's word to know He's got history in His hands.

I suppose if he had said that about black workers or brown workers, etc, he would most certainly be a seen as a blatant racist.

you're right!

dang, that's outrageous. I think I realized my comments are generational, but in his context they can be seen as racist.

If America went one day without white workers we would be in a total black out, try a year!

Need health care, home repairs, auto repairs, electricity, working telecommunications, groceries?
