Christians who voted for Trump are being accused of calling him the saviour....we all know Trump cannot save America but the critics like to use it as an attack weapon



This is nothing like what happened for 8 years when the media, celebrities and many christians were hailing Obama as the Messiah

Christians even supported him after he was shown on Newsweek as the gay messiah

So let me ask ...where is the discernment

The very DANGEROUS place we found ourselves is what appears to be a pendulum swing....from a President who saw himself separated from American patriotism and as a 'problem in the world' which sadly positioned him in a place of peacemaker to a fault...and then the POSSIBLE pendulum swing to the other end of the spectrum...the world BULLY...

Sadly the alternative seemed to be a moderate who might be a good choice but had shown themselves too connected to the Obama agenda...too willing to compromise..

I tend to believe we actually GOT such a moderate in President Trump and that his perceived NO COMPROMISE rhetoric on the campaign trail was just that...an attempt to get not only moderates but those far right folks that would not have voted otherwise......but only time will tell....

President Obama believed that his duty was to correct the mistakes, the wrongs, America had done in the past...and in that was the belief that the wrong of slavery ahd not been corrected and the wrongs of decisions made regarding with dealing with other nations had to be corrected...he believed if we apologized to Iran and gave them what they asked for they would be our friend...he believed Israel was the cause of the war in the middle east...

His belief that racial tensions still existed because the wrongs had not been made right fueled the racial tensions during his administration...

But the real truth is this is not a problem government can do anything else to fix...the laws are in place and should be enforced...the rest is up to the individual....

No doubt his moves regarding Iran and Palestine have created some future problems not yet realized...

All his actions pointed to a denial of God and HIS ability alone to grant wisdom...the ability to take those FACTS in his head and convert them to wise actions...instead he formulated an idealist POV that ignored that our enemies are our enemies because they hate the democratic republic we are and to crawl to them in humility and guilt for the past emboldened them to USE us against us...

Apologize if we MUST but do not allow that apology to be interpreted as weakness by acting unwisely....which is what he did...

I think we can all (with a few exceptions) agree that some people (even Christians) appeared to worship and idolize former President Obama - In their eyes, he could do no wrong.

Trump is our new President - Can we just let the Obama bashing go now?

I see the OP as discussing how people have seen Obama rather than what Obama is like. Democrat or "Obama supporter" bashing is more like it.

The Op shows the hypocrisy of the left...my musings on the state of mind and operation of the former president helps me asses the current state of affairs in our nation...as President Obama would probably say, we must look at our past to understand why we are where we are...and looking at the past correctly will help us see correctly how to proceed forward....please feel free to ignore my musings if they do not interest you....

As for the OP it's just the media once again looking in the mirror and trying to project that image on others....

Atheists and anti-christians talk like that often, "in Satan we trust" and so on. I'm wondering if people will end up worshipping the Antichrist (not just all the small antichrists) and think of it is as merely blaspheming the Christian religion while that is precisely what they are doing in their hearts. I know some people do things like consecrate themselves to and worship Satan, even involving elaborate genuine rituals, just to prove that it matters nothing since they disbelieve all such things. And then they get demonized while doing that. See the pattern ?
