Thread: Trump picks 'Mad Dog' Mattis as our Secretary of Defense

I'd rather have someone (with years of military experience) called "Mad Dog" in charge of our Defense Department, than someone referred to as "Trans Anything"

Yeah, anybody named 'Mad Dog' in charge of the military is a good thing.

He's a warrior, not a nation builder. Win, go home.

With a guy like Mad Dog we should revert the name back to Department of War or the War Department.

The Secretary of War, a civilian with such responsibilities as finance and purchases and a minor role in directing military affairs, headed the War Department throughout its existence.

This was a line in a motivational address to his Marines at Ayn al-Asad Airbase, an Iraqi Armed Forces and U.S. armed forces base located in western Iraq.

He's got the offense part down already. But isn't a secretary traditionally a good looking young woman ? I'm sure Mad Dog will object to that title and ask Trump to come up with something less effeminate. "Dog of War" would cover both positions.
