Maybe not, (at least from what I gather from the supporters on this forum) but why did these racists seemingly become emboldened after the election?
Look at the news in the couple of weeks since...I'm not going to waste my time looking it up for you.
If you honestly don't get what I'm saying/feeling, then our conversation is over.

FaithfulOne, I am truly sorry and I do feel for you, that you feel threatened, or afraid.
I truly am! I truly do!
I'm trying, sis.
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...
(Ephesians 4:17-18)
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...
(Psalm 1)

From my perspective the major ones who have become emboldened are the hateful liberals rioting, protesting, attacking Trump voters etc etc
What about the celebrities ...I have read more anti Trump hate in the last few weeks than what was directed at President Obama over 8 years
Did any celebrity threaten to punch Obama in the face like De Niro said about Trump?
This was a threat of violence and guess what the liberal Democrats are the violent ones rioting
Last night on national TV down here one comedian called Trump an orang utan....can't remember in 8 years any comedian calling Obama a gorilla
The mockery of his wife is filth...yes what she did was pornographic and wrong
Liberals WANT to concentrate on racist or negative groups so mud will stick on ALL Republicans and conservative christians
Sorry FO...if you are going to read liberal hate it will poison your spirit
Trump is not even our president and the vile hatred from liberals and support from media is evil.
There will be loony right wing fringe groups that support Trump but they are considered fringe
Celebrites and media are not fringe yet they stir up hatred and evil and who calls them out

And I love you too, FO, but I have to ask, when's the last time (or even the first time) Obama or Clinton told the protesters to cease and desist?

There is no question that Trump needs to STRONGLY denounce even the slightest whisper of racism or white nationalism wherever it originates. Frankly, I think the whole "alt-right" thing is just the Left seizing on name-calling to try and diminish the influence of NON-racist conservatives. They are the ones who elected Trump and I'm quite sure they won't stand for racism anywhere in a Trump administration.

TT, unless you understand the history of hate groups in the US, and why people feel threatened (I necessarily don't but I'll be darned if I sit by and allow others to be mistreated), then you don't get it. and the longer it takes Trump to CLEARLY and unequivocally renounce what's happening as "celebrations" of his victory, then the harder it will be for me (and others, black, Jewish, etc) to trust him. You just can't blame EVERYTHING on the media. a lot of this is the fault of Trump's big fat mouth.

Obama and Clinton didn't start it. Obama and Clinton are gone, history. In a few weeks we all will be dealing with a new reality.
You all really don't get it, do you?
Just because we have two vocal black people on here that agree with you (VWoman and Romans828) doesn't mean everybody else is wrong!! *I don't know where BAP is, maybe he's taking a break...)
But this is an area where if you don't understand what's happening from a historical perspective, then I don't know what else to say.
The issues you hated Obama and Clinton for are NOT going away come January..but if you believe my Christianity should overlook racist hate (overt and covert), then you would be wrong. Very wrong.

I get this and agree...he needs to shut up and stop using twitter and stirring things up. I also agree he needs to renounce all racist groups and any other group spreading hate
He needs to let Pence get out and do some talking and unity building
I think President Obama could also bring healing by speaking to celebrities, Hollywood, media and Democrats to give Trump a chance and to put aside rioting and hateful protests. IMO deep down I think Obama partly enjoys the discord and disruption that is why he hasn't said anything
I hope he proves me wrong by addressing the nation
