I think so too. Memory a little foggy on all the details it's been a while.
Hey, there was a time that I thought that "Hezekiah" was a book in the Bible
LOL!
For the first year I was saved, I pronounced Malachi "Malachee"!

Ya know, I never really thought about it, I guess I kinda thought it was in there somewhere too!
Here's where it came from:
Ole Slew foot, is a reference to the devil from earlier colonial times. The people of that era not wanting to draw the Devil's attention to themselves would give him nicknames. 'Ole slew foot' was a reference to the fact that he didn't have toes, he had hooves.

Oh thanks for the history lesson. That's good to know. I didn't know that.
When Troy mentioned we ought not even call the devil names, it brought back to my memory the scripture about the angel contending with Satan over Moses' body. Jude 1:9 Got a clearer understanding now of what that passage is conveying.
The only names I recall at the moment the devil being called in scripture is "old serpent", and "dragon", other than that, besides Bilial and Beelzebub, none of the NT saints called him names.
