Celebs Scorn Oprah for Saying 'Hope Lives' After Trump Election: 'Don't You Dare'
Celebrities took to Twitter Friday and trashed talk show host Oprah Winfrey for saying President-elect Donald Trump and President Barack Obama's White House meeting gave her "hope."
"I just saw President-elect Trump with President Obama in the White House, and it gave me hope," Winfrey told Entertainment Tonight. "To hear President-elect Trump say that he had respect for President Obama, it felt that he had reached a moment where he was actually humbled by that experience. To hear President Obama say that he has renewed confidence in the peaceful transition, I think everybody can take a deep breath."

I had just made this comment in another thread:
It's funny how anyone, even liberals that said Trump could win were totally demonized and denounced and shamed by liberal. There is absolutely no dialog from the left any more, just shaming, etc, etc, etc, about other's views.
And it's still happening after the fact.
Maybe some of these liberals will wake up when they see how they are treated by their fellow liberals when they disagree. But she'll probably backpedal at some point. Interested in hearing what she has to say about this.

I was watching TEEVEE heads this AM and it occurred to me that Dems are in self-destruct mode, they are doubling and tripling down on the rhetoric and behaviour that lost them this election.
Keith Ellison, a Muslim for DNC chair? Yes dems, you lost middle America for good, keep it up!

Well I'm surprised! Chi-town girls don't punk out! At least the ones I'm related to don't. I'm disappointed that she let cyber bullies make her go against what she feels in her spirit.
With all the juice she's got, she let them punks cause her to back down. I've not agreed with her on several issues, but I never thought she was a coward. I've lost almost all respect and admiration I had for her now. SMH

Hollywood has a tendency to soften you. Look at how some celebs who grew up in tough neighborhoods and were somewhat "thuggish" during the time that they were rising in stardom have changed and even have allowed their children to become sissies.
