Thread: As an African-American woman...

    As an African-American woman...

This was written by a FB friend, but she has (IMO) stated what I feel most eloquently, more so than I could...

"It has been a very difficult task for me as an African American woman to separate the white people who voted for Donald Trump because of their conservative views on traditional marriage, abortion and religious freedom of which I agree versus the pure unadulterated racists with a delusional belief in white supremacy, their fear and hatred of Muslims and their acceptance of Donald Trump's torrid history of disrespect for women. What has not been difficult for me is my trusting in the Sovereignty of God. My faith has never been in a man or a woman therefore I will always walk in power and victory. Whether or not you feel a victory has been won in this election, America is still trouble with God. Donald Trump would not be president if God did not allow it. To the true Christians in this country it is time to pray. MCH ~ 2016"

    "True Christians"?

Her entire post makes no sense to me because racism, hatred of Muslims, race supremacy, and disrespect of women (did she see the Jay Z & Beyonce' lewd and lascivious concert Hillary Clinton paid $62,000,000 for them to perform at her rally?) is not exclusive to white people (the Black Panthers publicly supported Donald Trump).

My vote for Donald Trump was more for policy and Platform than for the man. I voted to have a Conservative Supreme Court, for a strong military, for the abolishment of the murderous Planned Parenthood.

I voted for safe borders, for veterans and law enforcement; I voted for the protection of my right to be free to practice my faith without fear of going to jail for refusing to bake a wedding cake for same sex couples. I voted for a safer environment for my grandnieces to use the school restroom designated for their gender.

"Real Christians" vote their conscience using godly wisdom. They know that no man or woman is perfect and great men and women sometimes make HUGE blunders and commit vile sin.

Remember the king who slept with his mightiest soldier's wife, got her pregnant, then had him murdered because he couldn't trick him into being intimate with her so he'd believe the baby was his? Yeah, the one whom God said was a "man after My own heart." Turned out to be one of the greatest kings that ever lived.

Christians conveniently forget how God has, time and time again used very flawed men and women for His purposes. Remember the prostitute Rahab? Yeah, well turns out she was David's great-grandmother and in the lineage of our Lord.

So some folks need to get off their high horse and recognize that there will always be flawed candidates, it is a given in every race. The current POTUS and his wife have made racists comments on several occasions. Why do they get a pass?

Racism doesn't only belong to white people. I personally know a few black racists that are just as vile as the KKK. It's time to get past this nonsense and work to make our nation great again. It's been too long in the moral depravity and I for one would like to move forward and continue my assignment while I still can.
When your praise match your prayers, the answer will come.

I cannot speak for the entire Democratic party but I ill say that the corruption revealed in this past cycle was far from limitd to Hillary..it is deeply entrenched in the DNC..hopefuly just the elitist that are buried within but the fact is the Democratic party needs the same thing Republicans faced in the past 10 years or so, an internal uprising to clean up their act...Democrat voters sent a clear message yesterday to THEM just like the Tea Party movement and this latest take back by the people have sent our own elitist in our party a message...I know the media said the Republican party was disintegrating and imploding but that was their own agenda speaking...what happened. in the Republican party is WE THE PEOPLE are saying DO YOUR JOB!

Last night for the brief 5 minutes we had this on Fox rather than KCM Megan asked Hannity what Trump must do now to work with Congress and I LOVED his response..He said that Congress needs to find the way to work with HIM....

She also tried to get him to join her in blaming this (framed as a question of course) Comey..he did not bite...

For some reason Democrats either follow like blind sheep or go silent...giving the evil in the DNC boldness to just keep railroading our nation into deeper and deeper sin..I believe moral Democrats at down and could not in good conscience support Hillary but sitting down should be only the beginning...

A fiend of mine asked a question a few days ago...when interviewed by someone recently, (paraphrased) Pence was asked, did he forgive Trump for all the vile things he's said and done, Pence says yes he did. Then the interviewer (and my friend) asked then why, as a Christian, was it difficult to forgive the Clintons? (I didn't see the interview myself, but I was told Pence had difficulty answering that)

See, my thing is, all these Christians are celebrating and high-fiving each other today, but what about the COMMAND to forgive? l've heard and seen all types of stuff being leveled at Obama and the Clintons over the past eight years (even earlier than that), is all that JUSTIFIED now since (in some people's eyes) a "saviour" has been elected?

We will see. Like I said an another post, I sincerely hope that this nation can unify after all the vitriol of the past year, year and a half. What I forgot to say is that I sincerely hope REVIVAL happens. We need it, moreso than a particular person as POTUS.

I can certainly forgive Clinton, that doesn't mean I trust her, or want her as President. I thought Trumps acceptance speech and now, Clinton's concession speech is a beginning to encourage unity. I truly believe we will all be alright.

Let me answer that for Pence....

Forgiving Trump or Clinton is not the issue with the election. The issue is a person's current character and policies.

Many of things Trump said and did were vile and disgusting. However, he has run on a conservative political platform that is friendly towards God, Scripture and the unselfish view of helping the country rather than benefitting from it. He has expressed shame for the things he said and did. Whether he is real about this or not only time will tell.

Ms. Clinton's transgressions are fairly recent, never repented of, and displays her current character. It shows exactly what we will get when she is in the whitehouse. Putting her past transgressions aside, mrs. Clinton's anti-Christian agenda, current promotion of lewd hypocrisy, and advocation of murdering unborn children should be the determining factor for any Christian to decide between the two candidates.

If racism MUST be a factor, we should keep in mind that Planned parenthood who Mrs. Clinton endorses was started to cleanse America of the Black community and the democratic party has a history of racism starting with the KKK all the way to its numerous votes AGAINST civil rights issues for Blacks in the past. When Lyndon B. Johnson finally began to institute civil rights policies it was for the purpose of ensuring that "them n****** will vote for us for the next 50 years." A lot of Blacks either ignore or overlook all of this to my amazement.

Forgiving is not even close to the same as excusing or pardoning their behavior. The Clintons are criminals, especially her, and need to be held accountable for the things she's done. I just had a video conference with a friend in the States and she talked like the rest of the world is unaware of who Hillary really is and what she's done. Anyone with computer access has at least some idea of the depth of the Clinton's corruption, that's a fact.

Our main stream news did exactly what yours did. Made Hillary look wonderful and Trump like a racist buffoon. Even late last night when the results were indicating a victory for Trump, one of our main broadcasting corporations finished their 11PM news with a video of Hillary saying lovely things and Trump's every clip that he's been criticized for through the election. Believe me, the world knows. You guys do NOT live in a bubble.

Our news even featured pubs and bars where Canadians, so caught up in the YOUR election were having election night parties... red hats, blue hats, red beer, blue beer.... cheering and groaning...

    The world has be WATCHING.

I, for one am very glad Trump won and I was pretty sure he would, right from the beginning... However, we have a Liberal gov't in Canada that is making disastrous decisions for OUR country. I would take Trump over young Mr. Trudeau any day.

I believe the US is gonna be ok. Actually, better than you have been for a long time. JMHO as someone looking from the outside in.

ETA: Canadians were praying. Yes, we were.

I agree. If the Lord be pleased as to allow me to still be here in four years, it will be VERY INTERESTING to see how things have gone, and if everything has been for the better.
