FBI Reopens Clinton E-Mail Probe 11 Days Before Election
-The Federal Bureau of Investigation is reopening its inquiry into Hillary Clinton’s use of private e-mail while secretary of state, a politically explosive development less than two weeks before the presidential election.
“In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation,” Director James Comey said in a letter to eight committee chairmen in Congress. “I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information.”
Comey said he can’t say how long the review would take -- raising the possibility that Clinton could go into Election Day with the new probe unresolved and still hanging over her campaign...

Bernstein: FBI Would Not Reopen Case Unless New Evidence Was "A Real Bombshell"
Posted By Tim Hains

Watergate journalist Carl Bernstein comments on the FBI's shocking Friday afternoon announcement that they are reopening the investigation into Hilary Clinton's email server
because new evidence has come to light.
...We don't know what this means yet except that it's a real bombshell. And it is unthinkable that the Director of the FBI would take this action lightly, that he would put this letter forth to the Congress of the United States saying there is more information out there about classified e-mails and call it to the attention of congress unless it was something requiring serious investigation. So that's where we are...

What is possible in terms of penalties for Clinton if she becomes President before there is a hypothetical verdict ?

...Clinton herself has kept quiet about the bombshell announcement.
She
smiled and waved to reporters –
but ignored their shouted
questions - as she walked off her plane in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Clinton spent
a half hour on the plane
after it landed. Running mate Tim Kaine has also not made a formal statement. He told a reporter he has “got to read a little more” before responding.

This is a pretty big deal on national news. It's not being ignored.

If Clinton had been removed as president because of an impeachment would her vice president take over or would there be a new election ? Could she end up in jail as president ?

Normally, The V.P. would then become Pres.
She could go to jail I do believe.

New Emails in Clinton Case Came From Anthony Weiner’s Computer
-WASHINGTON — Federal law enforcement officials said on Friday that a trove of emails described by the F.B.I. director as pertinent to the now-closed investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server were discovered on a computer belonging to Anthony D. Weiner, the estranged husband of Huma Abedin, a top aide to Mrs. Clinton.
In a stunning letter to Congress, the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, said that emails had surfaced in an unrelated case, and that they “appear to be pertinent to the investigation.” It remained unclear, however, if the emails were sent from Mrs. Clinton’s private server, which has already been thoroughly examined by the F.B.I...
...The F.B.I. is investigating illicit text messages that Mr. Weiner, a former Democratic congressman from New York, sent to a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina. The bureau told Congress on Friday that it had uncovered new emails related to the Clinton case — one federal official said they numbered in the tens of thousands.
Mr. Comey said the F.B.I. was taking steps to “determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation.” He said he did not know how long it would take to review the emails, or whether the new information was significant. A senior law enforcement official said that the emails belonged to Ms. Abedin and were backed up on Mr. Weiner’s computer...
