Do you all think that what got leaked from internal correspondence in the Clinton camp, that Trump was Clinton's only chance to win, may in fact be the truth ? My personal opinion is that none of what has happened after he became the Republican candidate surprises me, the only thing that has surprised me is the fact that he did manage to become the Republican candidate.

I wish you would not solidify that belief...I see so many Christians being led to throw in the towel based on what the polls and even the appearance of things...IMHO that is more likely to shore up the outcome that it being inevitable..

I believe Christians have underestimated the power of suggestion used by the Democratic strategists and the media...and IMHO some have been blinded by it. The article in Charisma sounded like a strategy plotted right out of Satan's play book..just give up, the polls are telling us it's over...how did Christians become so faithless in God to do what seems impossible?

People of faith should not be 'realists' as so many Christian leaders seem to be saying...we are people who believe in the impossible in the natural..God is more than able to thwart the strategies of the enemy..in fact He tells us the evil will fall into their own traps....we have been seeing this lately on Social Media and we see unprecedented events in this election yet we have no faith?

I would like to remind those of you who "cannot vote for him" that to not vote for him is a vote FOR the Hildabeast.
It is the sleeping church's fault that our nation is in the condition that it is in right now. Can you imagine how different our nation would look IF the church had actually been making disciples for the past 100 years? There would be a much higher percentage of believers running our country and it would look a whole lot different than what we see today.
And the negative words that some of you are speaking show a lapse of understanding the authority that you have been given in Christ.
We need to speak out loud and tell the powers and principalities and hosts of wickedness in heavenly places to get their hands off of our country and off of our electoral system and off of the media. We need to be saying "No! You cannot have our nation! And we need to start humbling ourselves and seeking His face and crying out for mercy for our nation.

That's it, right there!

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...

I didn't see the report of that leak, but it sounds right. Polling during the Republican and Democrat primaries consistently showed that several other major Republican contenders (e.g., Rubio and Kasich) would do better against Clinton than Trump would. Polling also showed that Sanders would do better against the Republican contenders than Clinton would.
So, in the end, each party selected the candidate least likely to defeat the opposing party! Go figure ....
