Surgeons are Red, Psychiatrists are Blue

Interesting article on the political affiliations of (US-based) medical doctors based on their specialties.

    http://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/07/up...T.nav=top-news

New data show that, in certain medical fields, large majorities of physicians tend to share the political leanings of their colleagues, and a study suggests ideology could affect some treatment recommendations. In surgery, anesthesiology and urology, for example, around two-thirds of doctors who have registered a political affiliation are Republicans. In infectious disease medicine, psychiatry and pediatrics, more than two-thirds are Democrats.

Man, am I glad Jesus keeps my body well... ain't no way I'm bending over for a proctologist.

That's way to kinky for me, although I understand that some submit to these types of "medical procedures" in the name of medicine, and actually PAY for it

Prior to my colonoscopy, I didn't talk politics with the doctor - figured it'd be better to avoid getting on his bad side.

Yeah, worldly wisdom says it's best to not irritate the guy sticking things in one's backside...

Godly wisdom says Jesus took our infirmities and bare our sickness and by His stripes we have been healed (Isaiah 53:4)... so it's God's will that His people come to Him for health and healing.

It's so sad that so many Christians depend on doctors before the Lord and some end up dying early even.

So, what's the purpose of a colonoscopy anyway?

I know a Christian nurse who worked in emergency and she had funny stories of people who had things stuck in their backside. This was years ago and many of them were gays.
Today that same perversion has crossed to heterosexuals who are doing exactly the same thing to get excited.

Sorry John as there's no verse saying "type 'purpose of a colonoscopy' at the top of top of your screen" FT's left in the dark.
