Sadly, that's probably true... and it could be that in some very bad times (like a nuke going off in a large US city), we would want Trump in there rather than hillery cause at least Trump is shown some favor towards Christians while hillery is a known snake.

Either way tho, you're right... the majority of Americans have rejected Jesus (including many Christians who are carnal and luke warm) so God must take a step back because Love does not force Himself upon anybody, and the result of this is judgement.

It happened to ancient Israel, so we will not experience anything different. Yes, this nation has done a lot of good in the past, but Amrican exceptionalism does not take precedence over Galatians 6:7,8

I think both candidates are utterly clueless about our real problem
Yes, the real problem is we need to repent as a nation and turn back to the Lord... no, it never was perefect before at any time in our nation's history but we've done so much to kick God out of everything... it's getting close to the time when He allows the desire o the majority in this nation to come to pass... which is no more God.

By the way, what does the Word say about haughtiness? Don't you think Trump is the poster boy for haughtiness?

If you 100% know God said that then I will agree but since we are only guessing better Trump than Hillary

Bookie here's the thing, there are only two people who have a chance to be the next President...Trump and Hillary. Which in your opinion is the candidate who will do a better overall job of running our nation? Vote for that person because anything else is a wasted vote.

The reason Obama got in last time and our country did a huge fall in morality is because a lot of Christians in the last election felt they couldn't vote for Romney because he was a Mormon even tho most of his values were similar to ours.

Sure, and God says He hates the shedding of innocent blood (baby killin), and sexual perversion is an abomination both of which hillery is a big time supporter of.

So, what brings more judgement... haughtiness or killin babies and sexual perversion?

It's easier for the Lord to deal with a guy who has pride, versus a woman that actually believes killin babies and sexual perversion is a blessing from god...

Trump has shown signs of being teachable... but not hillery.

He is clearly the lessor of the two evils... these are the two options we have because one or the other will be pres.

If we are never willing to consider third party candidates, then we are essentially enslaved to the Dems and Repubs. If there is a third-party candidate who matches your values well, why not vote for him/her, especially if you live in a non-swing state.

Personally, I believe Mr. Trump's policies are more contrary to Christian values than Mrs. Clinton's; Mr. Trump was never anti-abortion until he decided to run for president, and Mrs. Clinton wants to continue to provide health care to poor and working class people (and improve that coverage), while Mr. Trump would strip it away. (The Bible is clear: God condemns wealthy societies that fail to take care of their poor: "Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen." Ezekiel 16:49-50.)

    Proverbs 27:6
Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...
    (Ephesians 4:17-18)

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...
    (Psalm 1)

The problem I have is that I think both candidates are utterly clueless about our real problem. We have problems neither candidate can solve because the problems are deeply spiritual. Neither understands that we as a nation have sinned greatly against God and until there is national repentance, it doesn't matter who is president. It might be best for the worst candidate to win...that may hasten God's judgment and our repentance.
    DITTO!!!

But what really blows me away are those Christians who try to spiritualize Donald Trump and his candidacy....... Hillary is a member of a Methodist church, but Donald, ...., ......, well, .... his favorite preacher died 25 years ago, ... and, ... he was more into positive thinking than the Bible or the new birth. But then, if Paula White said that Trump got saved, ....., ..... , .... well, ... (fade into silence ....)

Which candidate gives evidence of a transformed life resulting from faith and trust in Christ????

Yeah, we know. You keep beating that drum.

Regardless, a no vote or a vote for anyone else but Trump is a vote for Hillary. So you'll help elect her if she wins.

Drum??? .... Hmmm, ... I think preachers and church leaders need to stand for righteousness and virtue, not keep whitewashing a rotten fence to make it look presentable for a sale to the unsuspecting and gullible.

A vote for Hillary??? No, not at all. That's a false narrative. If Hillary wins, Trump will bring about his own defeat because he is a very deeply flawed candidate who has driven off possible supporters by his own nasty mouth and underhanded actions. He did make a small step with somewhat of an apology a few days ago but needs to go further to recover those already offended by his blunders.
