Said to say, but I put no stock at all in what Dobson says. I don't necessarily doubt it per se, but I don't believe it either. Nobody really knows except maybe Trump himself, and of course God knows.

I've always said when any celebrity gets saved, it shouldn't come out publicly and they need to be locked away for 5 years and discipled before it's publicly known. The world and even Christian are only interested in taking their potshots and pulling them down. At least let them mature some and give them a fighting chance before it is made public.

Trump (thinking to himself) "no means that I'm definitely not a Christian and I lose votes. yes means that I could be and I gain votes and I don't really have to change anything. What do I do, hmmm."

where was all this love and understanding and non-judgement for Obama?? The hypocrisy is amazing! (Please note I'm talking about Dobson and Reed and other big names like them that want to anoint Trump like Samuel anointed David. not anyone here )

"Well, I guess Trump is as much a Christian as Obama is"

Has Trump actually ever claimed to be a Christian ? I know Obama has, Hillary Clinton likewise.

Plastered all over CNN on TV that Dobson said 'Trump is a baby Christian'. Dobson should have used wisdom in this and not said anything. Shoulda kept his mouth shut. The lack of wisdom actually upsets me to some degree.

Evangelicals get caught up too much in who is a Christian and who isn't when voting for politicians

Best thing to do is look at their actions and see the fruit and who is more favorable towards christian policies

The thing is that they may seem favorable towards Christian policies and then at best do nothing if they get into office. Recall that Obama was outspokenly opposed to gay marriage during the 2008 election. The way things have developed, that wasn't very believable. More likely it was the right political move at the time, aka "a blatant lie".
