He's already said that if he doesn't get the Republican nomination then he will go Independent. Which means he's going to pull votes away from the Republican nominee when it comes time for the Presidential election. (I say he's working for the Democrats )

Trumps popularity is a repudiation of the status quo. Our dear leaders have slipped so low that a clown can overtake them.

My theory is he is working for Jeb.

On the flip side, nobody can run the country like a business and do what's in the best interest of the nation... except for Trump.

All others are bought and paid for, but at least Trump will be tough on Iran, ISIS, etc and he'll be much less likely to cave in to political correctness.

Apart from him, we will have hillary as pres which will just bring us that much closer to the one world government. I see a lot of folks voted for Carson in the pole - He'd probably be a good guy to have as Pres, but he is so low in energy it's hard to tell if he's awake or not.

On the other hand, none of this really matters anyway when you consider things the Bible teaches about the end times.

It's getting to the point that in the US, the only way to get people's attention and have revival is if terrorists light off a nuke in New York City which will probably happen before long or some other terrible event.

Seeing how the majority in this nation are poking their finger in God's eye (so to speak), we are due for something really bad as the Lord honors the people's desire to kick Him out.

Ancient Israel was not saved from destruction, neither will the US - increasing sin brings destruction, so it's a matter of time before something really bad happens.

So, get ready to win some souls when the bad stuff hits the fan!

But we're NOT a business. Can you imagine Trump trying to run negotiations between Israel and Iran?!

Saw in interesting article this morning that linked a speech made by Carly Fiornia on 09/26/2001.

Just 2 weeks after 9/11 she was praising the leadership of the Ottoman Empire during 800-1600. She said that military protection allowed a degree of peace.
She said it was a leadership based on merit not inheritance...

Here is a quote, "While modern Western civilization shares many of these traits, the civilization I'm talking about was the Islamic world from the year 800-1600, which included the Ottoman Empire and the courts of Baghdad, Damascus and Cairo, and enlightened rulers like Suleiman the Magnificent."

If the link does not work just Google Fiorina praises Islamic civilization..I found the link to the speech embedded in an article.

She was obviously part of an effort to stall violence against Muslims in America. In the aftermath of 9/11 people were attacked for being suspected of being muslim. A Sikh wearing a turban was murdered by an angry mob because they thought he could be a muslim. What she says isn't technically wrong. Historically, large empires have often implied internal peace and protection against worse aggressors.

Actually before the anti-muslim hysteria went into full gear there were many Christians who voiced their approval of Muslim nations for keeping out pornography, homosexuality, etc.

It was not unusual to hear "you have to respect them for maintaining morality."

Not sure her history is all that accurate though..she states they grew and prospered because of military protections...a comment was made that during that period there was immense Christian slaughters..I have not studied the history so maybe someone else can interject...

During external wars of conquest or defense yes, but not in terms of internal persecution. That began mainly as the Ottoman empire crumbled (Armenian Christians in what is now Turkey, ethnic cleansing in Greece and Turkey of both religions).
