I started with Fiorina, jumped to Cruz, and now will reluctantly settle on Rubio...until I change my mind again.
Do you think Cruz gets the spiritual nature of our problem? I doubt any of them really do...they will all approach it from the reasoning side, not the spiritual, IMHO

Ben Carson understands the spiritual nature of our nation but everyone has bailed on him and no one even mentions him anymore, including Christians. So, you are all stuck with what's left since no one wants Carson. Too bad.

I agree with you about the spiritual nature of the problem. But if that's the case, what is any politician to do about that, even if he/she recognizes that that's the problem? Given that we have a secular government, doesn't the revival need to come from the Church?

I like Carson, but he doesn't seem to know how to lead. He's pretty passive. I think his lack of experience hurts him. Especially foreign policy.

Not a Trump fan, but I don't think he's the disaster you guys think he is, either. He is not an enemy of Christians. He clearly isn't one, but I'm not looking to elect a Pastor in Chief.
I'm still undecided.
As far as Palin's endorsement.....again, I just don't understand the emotional energy behind it (the criticism). She can endorse who she wants. I think that for some reason, Christians don't seem to think that you can support someone who is not a Christian, but may have better leadership skills. At this point, I think people are looking for the best leader who is able to plug the hole in a sinking ship.....and I like Cruz and Rubio both.

In these days of pluralism, maybe a Chief in Chief would work better.

Didn't hurt Obama...
I personally do not view his calm demeanor as a negative; nor do I view it as passive. I view it as honest.
Something he noted, wisely IMHO, in a recent communication..when you look at his face you see the face of a man of faith and confidence and a clean conscience...I think those are good leadership qualities.

Just my .02...if people don't (or didn't) recognize (discern) quiet strength in someone like Carson, and would rather judge (nominate) according to the flesh, then they deserve what they get in a leader..brings to mind 1 Samuel 8..
4 So all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah.
5 They said to him, "You are old, and your sons do not follow your ways; now appoint a king to lead us, such as all the other nations have."
6 But when they said, "Give us a king to lead us," this displeased Samuel; so he prayed to the Lord.
7 And the Lord told him: "Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their king.
8 As they have done from the day I brought them up out of Egypt until this day, forsaking me and serving other gods, so they are doing to you.
9 Now listen to them; but warn them solemnly and let them know what the king who will reign over them will claim as his rights."

There is nothing Passive about Carson ... Nothing ... and he is a born leader IE if you define leadership by substance over bluster . Now of course if one conufses bluster and rhetoric as leadership then one might miss his leadership qualities.
Which iof the other candidates know anything about Foreign Policy ? ..At least Carson gets Islam and in this day and age what other forign policy qualification do you need ?
