Thread: Trump's accomplishments while in office

John mentioned in another thread about Trump's accomplishments, mainly Roe v Wade being overturned because of the judges he appointed while in office. But here is a huge list that he NEVER got credit for from an liberal, Dem, and many conservatives. They always criticized him no matter what he did because of their hate for him and created a false narrative around him that many came to believe that isn't even true. Do I wish he would tone it down some myself? Sure. But you can argue with that list.

And ever one of those accomplishments is a link to the story. Read it and weep or read it and realize what he actually did while President regardless of how one might think they're justified in criticizing him. The proof of the pudding is in the eating.

I don't think many conservatives would dispute his accomplishments (especially his SCOTUS picks), but they'd rightly say all that could have been done without the drama, narcissism, name-calling, and his hiring good people only to fire them when he didn't like their advice. It was all so unnecessary. He could have had a second term if he'd had the character qualities to match his accomplishments.

Your persistent focus on Trumps deficiencies are un-Christlike. I am deficient, you are deficient, we are all deficient in areas of our lives but are we called to focus on that, major in judging others by their weaknesses, their flaws? No, as Christians we are called to recognize gifts, talents, the God given traits He has put into all of and encourage, highlight and develop those gifts and callings. You sir are doing the exact opposite and attempting to claim some higher moral high ground by engaging in petty tear down, one who can't see the forest because of the log in your eye.

Yep, got a bit carried away with that as the head cannot say to the foot "I have no need of you" but the fact remains that Trump has been gifted, as we all are. The point being we focus on what God put in us, not the rough edges that are still in need of smoothing. Can you imagine if we treated everyone that way, focusing on their flaws? That would be putrid, a miserable life.

I can see many many gifts and talents in Trump just as I can see talents and gifts in others. I prefer to look at those things that are good and lovely vs. those things that are not, If I'm not mistaken that is one of the many points of Christianity.
