John MacArthur-'There is no such thing as transgender. You are either XX or XY, that's it.'
Pastor John MacArthur told his congregation Sunday that transgenderism is a "lie," joining thousands of pastors in protest of a new LGBT law in Canada.
The pastor of Grace Community Church in Los Angeles preached on a biblical view of sexual morality to support Canadian Christians who face up to five years in prison for speaking against LGBT sexuality and identity.
"There is no such thing as transgender. You are either XX or XY, that's it. God made man male and female. That is determined genetically, that is physiology, that is science, that is reality," MacArthur said from the pulpit.
"This notion that you are something other than your biology is a cultural construct intended as an assault on God. The only way you can address it, honestly, is to say, 'God made you and God made you exactly the way He wanted you to be. You are not only fighting God in His physical creation, you are fighting God in His sovereignty. You are fighting God in His spiritual relationship to you," he explained. "This is a war on God."
MacArthur said they must be met with love and affirmation to be all God created them to be.
"On the one hand, the reality of that lie and deception is so damaging, so destructive, so isolating, so corrupting that it needs to be confronted, but on the other hand, that confrontation can't exaggerate what already exists, which is a sense of feeling isolated in relationships."
More than 4,000 pastors across North America publicly expressed their disagreement with Bill C-4, which went into effect on Jan. 8, according to Liberty Coalition Canada.
MacArthur, who won an $800,000 settlement in September defying government orders on COVID lockdowns, led the charge in the United States, warned that similar legislation is quickly headed here.
Pastor James Coates, who was the first Canadian pastor to be imprisoned in the name of COVID, told Fox News the new law is "anything but loving" if it will "shut the LGBT community off from the saving and transforming message of the gospel of Jesus Christ."
After pastors were punished just for keeping their doors open during COVID, under this new law, Coates said Christian persecution will only increase.
"I believe our government is capitalizing on a politically expedient segment of its constituency in an effort to further dismantle Western civilization as we know it. To do this, it must outlaw its very foundation, which is rooted in a Judeo-Christian worldview. Bill C-4 is another brick laid in this effort and is evidence that our government is under the judgment of God," he said.

There are very, VERY rare cases that deviate from the norm gender-wise, but they are so rare, you'd likely never meet one! The issue we are dealing with, for the most part, are "Trans trenders" These people are doing so much damage! I think now we are also seeing a version "Munchausen by proxy" by parents who are transitioning very young children. This is dangerous and if Christians won't speak out, who will?

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
I have to give some respect to John Macarthur. I think he is almost reviled in the Word Faith community for his stance on all things Pentecostal. It's nice to see how God can use anyone available, even if we don't appreciate their doctrine. He also took a big stance on keeping his church open if I remember correctly.

YouTube: Pastor MacArthur's Sermon is 'HATE SPEECH'
YouTube removed the clip and sent me a message saying the pastor's sermon was hate speech.
"Our team has reviewed your content, and, unfortunately, we think it violates our hate speech policy," YouTube wrote to me. "We've removed the following content from YouTube: 'There is no such thing as transgender. You are either XX or XY. That's it. – Pastor John MacArthur.'"
In other words, YouTube affirmed the Canadian law by banning any opposition to transgenderism on their platform.

I shake my head in a mix of fascination and encouragement because John has finally found a real enemy.
