    I can't understand the words so it is that or just the type of cadence they're marching to?

    I understood much of it. I prefer singing the yellow bird cadence or the yellow ribbon cadence. Those are the ones I taught my grandkids when I taught them how to march around the yard years ago.

    Was it just the nature of the song? Not something that would usually sing?
