Take Your Daily Medicine
"My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don't lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart, for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body." Proverbs 4:20-22 (NLT)
Taking in God's word every day will strengthen us against the attacks of the enemy. We'll be so full of God's word, that we will "quench every fiery dart of the devil!" Glory to God!
The Hebrew word for healing is "rapha", which is also one of God's redemptive names; Jehovah Rapha, the God that heals...Hallelujah! That's "Good News"! That's the Gospel! Amen!
So don't forget to take your daily dose. Take it throughout the day, so that you will "prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers!" Praise the Lord!
"Then you will make your way prosperous and have good success." Joshua 1:8 ➕
Scripture Reference: Psalm 103:3...Ephesians 6:16...3 John 2

And don't forget the KJV where it says: "22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh", that the word health in the margin is 'medicine', or the Word is 'medicine to all their flesh.' And that's where your title came from. That fact is lost in light of the translation you used.

In the longer version I taught, I used King James. When I post them to my ministry page on Facebook, I use mostly the NLT and AMP because most of the visitors to the page are unchurched, non Bible readers, and many are from countries outside of the U.S.
But I am a die hard KJV.

Has always been my main and always will be. But when I read it out loud around others I do translate all the haths, thee's, etc into modern English on the fly.

I don't, I just make it sound more eloquent like the British do.

Do you also do it in your best Richard Burton voice?
