Do you have any good fiction novels to suggest? I'll have a break to read some over Christmas!

What kind of books do you like? Do you have any desire about particular times in history?
A new Christmas book would be The Christmas Hirelings by Mary Elizabeth Branddon. It was free on Audible last year and delightful. Originally published in 1894.
Becoming Mrs. Lewis by Patti Callahan. A story about Joy Davidson, her life and how she met and got on with C.S. Lewis.
I, Juan de Pareja by Elizabeth Borton de Trevino. I read this for history class (I teach 3-6 graders in a homeschool co-op). So, while this may be below your reading level, it recounts the story of a slave who worked with the painter Velazquez. Well written.
Anything by Fredrik Backman - A Man Called Ove. The Deal of a Lifetime.
I'm back! If you haven't seen The Life of Pi, read the book. It started a bit slow but was very good. I read the book years ago. I only saw the movie this past year.
The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry also very good.
The Remarkable Record of Job it's about the book of Job in the Bible. Highly recommend!
John King Bookstore in downtown Detroit. I can't go here very often because I buy too many books.

Interesting display. But I have far to many books for this.
