I’ve been reading along with Pastor Yandian for several months now his commentaries on the New Testament books...We began with the book of Acts, and we’re now in Romans.
His commentary on Acts (the first book) is my favorite, but Romans is running a close second.
After Acts, we’ve read through Galatians, Ephesians, and Colossians. The commentaries are well done and easy to follow & understand. He really digs in and breaks each verse down, which I appreciate because Romans is one of those epistles, like James, that I need more revelation, and I’m understanding much better, it’s truly been a blessing.
I’ll be reading the commentaries on Acts again, and Romans as well in the future.
Before we start each, he does a videotaped preview. It’s a great way to familiarize ourselves on a little history before delving into our reading. We read a chapter a week, and after we finish, we take a short break before going to the next book.
It’s been good for me because I need to stay out of this unbearable Oklahoma heat. So curling up with some great Commentaries on the epistles within the pages of my favorite book in the whole world is the ticket .
