I have one bookcase for secular and one for sacred. I culled it 5 years ago when I moved into this house, but they're overflowing again. :book:

A friend of mine posted this picture on Facebook. I love the picture, the books and the great wooden beams.

I used to have two book cases..one for secular, how to, cookbooks, self help stuff and crafts. The other was my spiritual collection. I grouped them by type...When we downsized there was about 40 that I just could not seem to part with although they have sat in a box for over a year now...all my reading is primarily on Kindle. I like the bookmark, and note and under lining feature that saves..knowing I can search for highlights helped me adapt to studying with Kindle..

Love books but they just take up too much space for me...in the 'house' and on the move...

    Yours look wonderful!

I'm afraid my bookcases are full and dozens of books stacked on top as they're just the short ones, I think 4'tall.

I still have all my kids books and now my grandkids are starting to pull them out to have read to them. That's so much fun!!!

Looking at yours makes me think I should buy larger ones and rearrange. But .... lol.

    Great pics, HF!!!

Guess I'm not a true book lover, 'cause when I'm done reading one, I just pass it along to someone else.

*Except for my Bibles, of course.
