    Again it is only speculation
Absolutely. But it's the best I've heard.

If it had amounted to a resurrection then Mark would have mentioned it as one.
You have no way of knowing that. That’s no premise to base an argument on.

I agree with this. First, it is noteable that Mark reported what other writers didnt. First, why mention something absolutely trivial especially when Mark's style is concise and to the point. Secondly, Mark seemingly takes for granted that everyone knows that it was a burial cloth, a dedicated piece of expensive, imported fabric. I find Bro Renner's perspective very believeable. But then I also believe Paul to have authored the book of Hebrews.

That's because he did. Brother Hagin said one of the times Jesus appeared to him that Jesus told him Paul wrote Hebrews.

Speaking of that, if you look in Dake's Bible in the notes on Hebrews, he lists a bunch of similarities between Hebrews and Paul's other epistles as proof he wrote it. Been years since I've read it though.

Funny think about Dake's, my family had one as long as I can remember, even as far back as when I was a teenager. My dad had a friend who had give it to us. So we had that thing a good 6-7 years probably before any of us were saved. I was saved at 21. 'Weird'. :)

All of the above has already been discussed previously in this thread, except for the part about the cloth being expensive and imported. The NT uses other words for that, byssos and byssinos, that refer to especially fine linen made from Egyptian flax. The words are used in the parable of the rich man and in the lists of luxury items in Revelation 18 and 19. The use of the word sindon in Mark 14:51-52 makes it neither a completed burial wrap (othonion) nor an expensive linen item (byssos or byssinos).

How about you deal with any of the objections that don't amount to educated guesses or speculation ?

This is what the resurrected Lazarus would have looked like.

John 11:44 And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”

His body was wrapped in strips of linen, a handkerchief was placed over his face and they tightened a band around his arms, legs and body to secure the strips of linen.

    Compare to :

Mark 14:51 Now a certain young man followed Him, having a linen cloth thrown around his naked body. And the young men laid hold of him,
52 and he left the linen cloth and fled from them naked.

That's not a description of a resurrected corpse. Even if the band had been removed miraculously and he had managed to get rid of the handkerchief himself, his body would now be wrapped loosely in many long strips made from the original linen cloth, quite different to the description of the garment in the passage above.
