I have a good friend who we came up in church together, his great grandmother was Amie's church organist at Angelus Temple. He has quite a few stories from his family about her & the church.
Aimee enjoyed her missions in the LA area. She made the trip out there in a 1917 Oldsmobile doing about 125-175 miles a day, arriving in 1919. She travelled with her mother and two children. They strapped cans of water and gas to the running boards and went over the Rockies via Pike's Peak. Here is a similar car:

According to her autobiography from 1919 it was a 1912 Packard Touring Car. See this old thread :

Right, I’m just replying to the thread as well.

Part of me longs to have seen that day and all of me wants to see another sweeping revival fully knowing the days are getting short.

Maybe she got a new one along the way and forgot to mention it in her biography. It would be strange though since she wrote that book the same year she arrived in California.

When I had my Christian bookstores, I had an elderly customer who said she was an occasional organist for Aimee at Angelus Temple.

Eureka, California. I'm not sure, but I think her last name might have been Knight.
