Lots of people claiming to be Christians are right there with them... they are following a different jesus and a different gospel that actually opposes the full gospel in favor of cherry pickin scriptures
All of which has nothing to do with revival in the church.
Honest question: Why are almost all of your posts critical of people and theology here? Do you feel like God has given you a ministry of correction? Do you think you are never wrong in your theology--it's only other people who are wrong?

I never said there were Scriptures to indicate a revival in the end times. And yet, we know God does bring revival to a dead church. Or perhaps you do not believe God brings revival. Or maybe you don't believe the church needs to turn back to God. You must think the great revivals of the past never really happened or...oh, wait. They were all new age revivals! Or maybe Satan himself caused Christians to repent and turn back to God.

If we were to study history and some of you may know this..several times in history theologians thought the end was at the door only to have a sweeping movement that unveiled new revelation of scripture and revealed unfulfilled prophesies...I anticipate at least one more....

Thinking about the need for scripture to perceive a move of the Spirit...I don't know that any of the moves of the Spirit were prophesied in scripture were they?

2 Peter 3:7 *But the heavens and the earth*which*are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8*But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day*is*as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
*9*The Lord is not slack concerning*His*promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
10*But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
11*Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner*of persons*ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,*
12*looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?
The passage talks abut the Lord postponing the end because he waits for people to repent then us hastening the end by living lives that bring people to repentance. The end is tied to calamity but also to revival and great signs and wonders.
Joel 2:30 And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth:
Blood and fire and pillars of smoke.
31*The sun shall be turned into darkness,
And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the*Lord.
That hasn't been fulfilled yet and follows the passage that talks about Pentecost :
Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward
That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your old men shall dream dreams,
Your young men shall see visions.
29*And also on*My*menservants and on*My*maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days.
This is really simple. Don't let FT's one sided, negative end times theology affect you. It's popular in cessationist circles.
