Are you claiming Jesus lied in Matthew 24:21-22... taking Jesus Christ at His Word is negative???

    He said that...

You fail to realize that warning of impending danger is good news in that it gives us a heads up of what's coming so we can make plans to avoid it and help others become aware so they too can avoid it.

Actually, using end times events is one of the few ways one can "prove" God's Word is true when we show people that the Bible tells of events in advance such as Israel becoming a nation again.
No. I never said anything about the end times. Study the revivals born of God in the past.

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved

Of course we continue to pray for the lost and witness, but let's not go all NAR and think the majority of the world is going to get saved cause they aren't. (see Matthew 7:13,14)
I believe both are true...I also believe the body of Christ is global and not national...so while praying and seeking his face the ONE absolute is that He is going to move for His people as HE sees fit...and according to His plan...

Also I don't necessarily believe we KNOW these current events mean without a doubt the end is upon us so we could go decades or even centuries before His return....we must focus on the here and now....while knowing we are moving toward what has been revealed prophetically through scripture...

You should start believing the FULL gospel, not just bits and pieces.

Besides, if you would look around the world and remember the parable about the fancy people that refused to come to the marriage celebration so those that were in the hiways and byways (not the popular elite people) were bid to come... you would realize revival is in fact going on in countries where most people are poor.

The Bible does not teach that there will be world wide revival where most of the earth's population will be saved... that's extra biblical teaching that comes from new agers.

Of course TV preachers teach this... but they also teach numerous false doctrines so that is to be expected.

You do not read posts before you respond. You insert your own thoughts that are irrelevant to what was posted. Revival happens in the CHURCH. And, yes, the church does need revival. I do not expect the revival to result in "most of the earth's population will be saved." That's your odd insertion to my post.

I'm also amazed that you think new agers are awaiting a revival among Christians. Not the new agers in our town. They are ardently anti-Christian.

As for TV preachers, I do not watch them.

No, new agers worship "the universe" or fred flintstone or whoever... the point is, they believe the population of the world is ascending into a high level of consciousness and are becoming gods and all the world's problems are getting closer and closer to being solved.

Lots of people claiming to be Christians are right there with them... they are following a different jesus and a different gospel that actually opposes the full gospel in favor of cherry pickin scriptures
