Who is "jeg" ?

Just kidding.

I downloaded a large history book recently. It cost something like $50 but since I downloaded it for a three month time period only, it cost just $10. There are lots of kindle books that cost far less than especially the ones found in Norwegian book stores. There are lots that are free too.

Our local library here lets us download books for free. AND there are several websites that constantly check Amazon for free books.

I've done that myself previously. At least a couple of times on CARM, I wrote entire posts in Norwegian without thinking about it. Naturally I didn't get much of a response out of that. Here is the Norwegian version :

Jeg har gjort det selv før. Jeg gjorde det minst et par ganger på CARM, jeg skrev hele innlegg på norsk uten å tenke over det. Naturligvis fikk jeg ikke noe særlig respons på det. Den engelske versjonen kan leses over.

In the years I have been using e-books, I have only read free books. It bothers me that the popular books cost almost as much as a print book.

Speaking of Kindle it is possible to read all the Magazines from a certain Norwegian Publisher for a very low price, but it doesn't function very well on my ipad.
