How do minds handle the tension?

Sadly Fred Price has passes away. Sad for his family and friends, but if he's in heaven not sad for him. But there's a tension in what has happened around his death and I wonder how people's minds handle it.

The first post about it was from Nikos referring to this article dates 10 Feb:

Valiant Woman has now posted this notice of his passing dated 12 Feb.

I'm devastated and need to take some time to process this. Pray for the Price family.

    So where's the tension?

    Firstly as I pointed out

In his own words, from June 2017 DM Campaign | Ever Increasing Faith Ministries (faithdome.org)
You must exercise your faith the same way that you exercise your body. For instance, you might start off with walking, then build up to running, then finally to lifting weights. You don't start off with heavy weights because your body can't handle it.

The same goes for your faith for healing. Start using it on a headache. Rather than run to the aspirin bottle, use your faith. A headache isn't usually life threatening. If you are unable to stop it with your faith, you can always take the pill, but you must start somewhere.

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17 NKVJ).

Hearing the word of God on Healing builds up your faith. Thereafter, if you are faced with a life-threatening condition, you're better prepared to use your faith on it because you've been hearing God's Word on Healing and using it on other conditions in your body.
He is aged about 89 and started out in ministry 48 years ago.

So Fred has been in ministry for around 40 years. Claiming to be an Apostle and writing 50 book and teaching on faith, healing, prosperity, and the Holy Spirit. He even said, "Hearing the word of God on Healing builds up your faith. Thereafter, if you are faced with a life-threatening condition, you're better prepared to use your faith on it because you've been hearing God's Word on Healing and using it on other conditions in your body". But what happens when he gets sick? A global call for prayer for him goes out. He taught "Start using it on a headache. Rather than run to the aspirin bottle, use your faith. A headache isn't usually life threatening. If you are unable to stop it with your faith, you can always take the pill, but you must start somewhere" but when it comes to the crunch it seems he can't do it for himself. How can an Apostle teach people things that he's incapable of doing himself?

And then, dated the day Fred died, we have Kenneth Copeland who make a total embarrassment of himself and the Church over Covid nearly a year ago saying he believes Fred will recover.

Televangelist Kenneth Copeland says he believes his friend and fellow televangelist Frederick K.C. Price will recover from a severe COVID-19 infection. (emphasis in original)

Copeland also asked for prayers as Price, 89, battles the infection in a hospital.

So we have an Apostle preaching faith, and building it up and using it to heal yourself who can't heal himself, and a Prophet who publicly says he believes the Apostle will recover on the very day he dies.

Surely other minds have also got to say, "What The?"

Compassion, Jesus healed many just because of that. But, friend "Compassion" fits right in here with Mr. Price's passing. How bout you pray for what seems to be what you are lacking here.

Tension? You carry much of that yourself. Can't you wait until some time passes here before mocking and taking jabs at a brother in Christ when he is with the Lord? Or take the higher road and not do it at all?

Agree! This badgering of a man who just died is uncalled for. Sure he is rejoicing in God's presence, but his family is in a state of grieving. I would like to think that members of this forum would be more sensitive to others than this.

In his reward. He will be missed. His ministry during the early '80s lifted me up and I learned from his faith.

Amen FireBrand! My Mom watched him all the time on TV and I sat and watched him with her back in them days. Then on You-Tube many times years back, as well as his son. He had the Fire in his bones Brother!

I will admit I wasn't a follower of his ministry, but my respect increased when he addressed racism in the church about 20-25 years ago. He even rebuked Hagin Jr. if I'm not mistaken. Carlton Pearson even tried to "correct" Price, only for Price to get on Pearson's case 😄 prayers for his family.

Only person making an embarassment of himself is you.

For the record Dr Price was already recovered from COVID as in the virus was gone .

Its the after-effects that Killed him . And per Price Junior he went to heaven several times before ultimately dying so It's likely he made a choice to go at 89 .
