I rarely eat sandwiches anymore because of eating wheat free.
BUT when I did eat sandwiches, my faves were PB&J, cucumber with lots of real butter, salt, pepper and vinegar, and after Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter, a turkey bun with lots of real butter, salt, pepper and mayo.
PB&J is one of my comfort foods.

Well, I make a few, but I can't say they're anything special or my favorite. But if I had to name one I guess it would be my Spam sandwich. I just eat it on a piece of fresh bread with some mustard. And I fry the Spam.
I'll also do a deli turkey or turkey pastrami (LOVE turkey pastrami...Boar's Head) with lettuce, swiss and mayo (my sandwich has to have lots of mayo). A tuna melt with toasted bread and cheddar cheese. I like grilled cheeses but rarely make them. I've been making a lot of turkey sandwiches lately with the Thanksgiving leftovers with mayo and thinly sliced onion and toast the bread.
And I rarely eat whole sandwiches any more. I just take one piece of bread, cut it in half, and make a half-sandwich.
