A sister in a Bible study group I'm member of told me about a self identified prophet, Chris Yoon. He figured prominently on YouTube prior to the election and at the time had something like 170K subscribers.
Isn't there a point where YouTube pays someone who achieves such a following?
I learned from watching Yoon's prophecy links that she forwarded me as to what I believe a prophet is not.
That is, someone who need apologize for getting it wrong. As Mr. Yoon did after the election. His reason for being wrong was, in so many words, he's still practicing in learning to discern the Lord and his words in contrast to Mr. Yoon's own thoughts on any given topic.
For my part, I think if someone is a true prophet of God, their two cents do not enter in at all. God speaks through them. Rather than that prophet having to decipher their personal thoughts from that of what they believe is God speaking.
