This is getting old...it just seems to be the common behaviour on this forum to behave as if people with differing opinions are brainwashed idiots.

My husband and I both have pre-existing health issues that make even common flu serious. If we choose to take the vaccine, that's not worthy of the above comments. I don't give a rip about what Gates says about anything. My bad, I knew better than to mention on this forum that we took the shots.

Dr. Brown is exactly right about the attitudes of some Christians these days.

I got my first shot a week ago. I am less afraid for myself, but work with vulnerable people and have a daughter who should not get Covid-19.

I don't think that's directed at you, just a general consensus about Gates from a lot of people. I read you took them and didn't even think a thing about it. I personally am not going to do it, but if others want to or feel they need to no big deal. When I made my comment about Gates what you said wasn't even on my mind even though I was reply to a comment about a third dose. I just don't trust Gates like I don't trust a lot of liberals. But it has nothing to do with whether anybody ought to take the vaccine or not. Everybody needs to do what they think they need to do. Seriously, there wasn't one iota of thought about what you did when I made my comment sis. If I thought I needed it I'd do it in a heartbeat and not care what anybody thought.

Just got over my shingles. The Doc said to wait 3 months to get my shots, but you can bet I'm getting them after going through this. lol.

No judgement either way on the vaccine topic. Both sides are subject to rhetoric that is over the top, people that don't want the vaccine are labeled as conspiracy theorists, ant-vaxxers , etc. The enemy wants us divided and takes every opportunity to drive the wedge.

I am looking to get the vaccine soon. I have to find a place that gives them.

Shingles is a terrible thing, very painful to deal with. I have had them twice, once around my left eye. I had to perform this big wedding for my niece in two days and I did not want to cancel. It was a difficult time but I managed a smile and did it.
