We had our testing through the health dept. it's free and took 2-4 days for results. Then you get called for contact tracing and isolation instructions. When time of iso is up, they send by request a cleared for work certificate.
Contact tracing however has been blown apart at the seams with the number of positives. Here is my experience: after we are entered in the system with the info and our time of iso was completed, I get a random call from the state offices of the health dept downstate. She starts by saying someone had tested positive and listed me as a contact (they were a positive and me the one that needed a test). I told her plainly that was impossible. She asked me why and I told her I have been in isolation, I tested positive and now completed my iso. She was flummoxed. I told her again that I had zero contact with anyone and then added "I WILL NOT BE DOING ANY ISOLATING ACCORDING TO YOUR INFO, I AM DONE WITH IT!". She said "oh I'll have to give this to my supervisor" and she hung up on me.
