I was in Los Angeles most of the week. It’s been around 90. Much too hot but thankfully not humid. I flew back up to the Bay Area today and it was just as hot here.
I did go the pier at the beach one day and the breeze was nice.

We have had nights of hard freezes and high temps in the 50deg range but...this Thursday evening the forecast says 2-4" of snow on the way. The cold season is upon us.

We have been having highs in the low 30's for several days, with lots of rain. The western part of the state has been having snow . It's way to early for it to be this cold.
Current temp is 25 with a high of 49 expected today.

Just left LA. It's been nice high 70s - low 80s minus the fires and smoke. Fortunately, I was on the west end which was ok. Flying to houston now. They told its unusually chilly there.

I'm anticipating our first wet, melty snowfall... and actually wishing for a nice snowy winter. Although I need to be careful about what I wish for as I no longer drive an SUV, but a little Honda Insight! I'll just have to be more prepared so I'm not running out at the last minute with all the crazy folk for milk, bread and toilet paper!!!
