Today is September 20th and we're looking at a high of 88 degrees Fahrenheit

It takes FOREVER to cool down in my neck of the woods!

My wife's family has a condo in Venice on the beach and we're supposed to be going down there in October. Maybe not. Venice is NW of the eye just below Sarasota. Doesn't look good.

Yeah, we'll know more soon but the damage is going to be water more than wind so it will depend on drainage, elevation etc.

Praying the best for everyone, I'm always amazed at how many people don't get injured in these weather events, God is good!

I remember one in recent years where Venice was pretty flooded it seems. The condo faces the beach and is on the 5th floor facing the beach and there are about 12 stories to it I think. So no condo damage really. Never had any in all these years since '82. But it's about if the city will be navigable, water will be on, electricity, etc.

I don't know fuego, it looks catastrophic, similar to Hurricane Andrew. Early October or late October? It could be months before things are back up.
