    Okay, no snow for you in Wayne Co., but plenty in Oakland!

    I was up in the western U.P. last week driving through white-outs and lake effect snows. It was so beautiful! I'm grateful they sand their roads up there because of traction and because when the plow throws up the snow, you can see the snowbanks better. I'm also grateful for those rumble strips in the center and side of the lane - very helpful when you can't see the road.
